It was summer of 1999, my first close encounter with Ericsson MC12 palmtop. It’s one of the very first Handheld PC (HPC) that runs on Windows CE 1.0 and attributes similar features to modern mobile devices – QWERTY Keyboards, Touchscreen, Pen and few primitive technology like irda, Serial Port, Modem and PCMCIA slots. Not only that, it also comes with neat PIM applications – Browser, E-Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Pocket Word and Pocket Excel which makes it a perfect mobile companion during those days.
